ਜਪ੍ਯ੍ਯਉ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦੇਵ ਗੁਰੂ ਫਿਰਿ ਸੰਕਟ ਜੋਨਿ ਗਰਭ ਨ ਆਯਉ ॥੬॥

Japyo Jinh Arjan Dev Guru, Phir Sankat Jon Garbh Na Aayo.

Whoever meditates on Guru Arjun Dev, shall not have to pass through the painful womb of reincarnation ever again. ||6||

On the sacred occasion of the Shaheedi Purab of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, we bow in deep reverence to the eternal sacrifice of the fifth Sikh Guru.

Through Guru Sahib’s martyrdom, we learn the virtues of composure, resilience and patience in the face of unimaginable adversity. Guru Sahib exemplified complete surrender to God's will and the power of remembering the Divine in every circumstance, favorable or harsh.

While enduring brutal torture under the orders of Emperor Jahangir, Guru Arjan Dev Ji remained in remembrance of the Divine and continually recited:

"Tera Kiya Meetha Lage, Har Naam Padarath Nanak Mange"

"O Lord, whatever You do feels sweet to me. Nanak only seeks the treasure of Your Name."

This timeless message teaches us that whatever we experience, joy or suffering, we must accept it with gratitude and stay immersed in Naam Simran (remembrance of God's Name).

To honor the divine legacy of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, students from Nursery to Grade 12, in scheduled groups, recited the sacred Sukhmani Sahib Path. These heartfelt recitations filled the campus with devotion, reflecting deep reverence and spiritual discipline.

On the preceding night, a spiritually uplifting program was held, featuring Shabad Kirtan, historical reflections, poetry, classical music, and Gatka.

In addition, a special Chabeel Seva was arranged for the entire Akal Academy family, including students, teachers and staffs. This act of Seva by the students embodied humility and compassion, the very principles upheld by Guru Sahib.
