The collaboration between Akal Academies under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust and Vision Spring Foundation heralds a significant milestone – a noble endeavor to bring the precious gift of clear eye vision to young minds for the first time.

In an ambitious move, our collaboration targets the eye screening of students and staff enrolled in Akal Academies, a network of 129 cost-effective schools in rural landscapes spanning five Northern Indian states.

This joint effort is rooted in a profound objective: identifying students who may require vision correction. Beyond identification, our shared mission extends to providing these children with eyeglasses.

Remarkably, what sets this initiative apart is its commitment to providing these invaluable services at absolutely no cost. The driving force behind our collaboration is the firm belief that every child deserves the right to see the world with a clear vision, irrespective of caste or creed.
